Separate House System Launched in Middle School

The Principal Ms. Bhubaneswari Rao announced the separate house system for Middle School (Grade V to VIII) in the morning assembly on 21st April, 2019.

With the announcement of the Principal, three separate house systems such as Junior School (Grade I to IV), Middle School (Grade V to VIII) and Senior School (Grade IX to XII) will be functioned from this academic session.

The objective of introducing separate house system is to upgrade and update middle school with the school leadership programmes according to the Principal.The school believes that the separate house system will ensure participation of more students in school’s leadership programme. The middle school students had been provided ample opportunity to involve in leadership programme with separate prefect council few years ago. 

The newly appointed house in-charges of the middle school were duly introduced on the occasion. The house in-charge will train and prepare the students for various inter-house competitions and activities with appropriate guidance throughout the session. DAV has six houses and they are popularly known as Mt. Annapurna House, Mt. Dhaulagiri House, Mt. Gaurishankar House, Mt. Kanchanjangha House, Mt. Lhotse House and Mt. Machhapuchhre House.
